Mr. Kenneth Blair bought the Sagebrush Inn in 1974. The beautiful inn was built in 1930 to accommodate easterners who traveled west for the winters. These travelers, as well as travelers today, find Taos, New Mexico a wonderful place of rest and rejuvenation. The Inn is literally surrounded with history as well as regional art and artifacts.
The original walls are a classic example of Pueblo Mission Architecture with thick adobe walls, arches and old brick walkways surrounding large beautiful courtyards. The Blair's later acquired the Comfort Suites, the Quality Inn, and built a full-service Conference Center, expanding their ability to better accommodate your events and travel needs.
The Sagebrush Inn has been a long-time favorite in Taos, for celebrities and the casual traveler alike. Treat yourself to stay in the only 3rd story room, #301, which the internationally known painter, Georgia O'Keeffe lived and painted during the 1930's.
